This Week's Activities

The primary purpose for this week's activities is to make sure that you have provided evidence of acheiving the learning goals that you established in your learning contract.  The secondary purpose is to evaluate ideas shared by your classmates and think about your ideas for teaching with technology in future.  This week you need to do the following things in order to fully participate in the class.  Expect to spend approximately 1.5 hours

  1. Look at all of your classmate's portfolio pages [link needs to be updated by April 13] and view their projects.  Think about which project or projects use technology most effectively.  What makes them so effective? (1 hour - 1.25 hours)
  2. Visit the the Video Blog and record your final reflections on what you have learned from this class.  (10-15 minutes)
    • What skills or knowledge do you have now that you didn't have when you began this course?
    • Which of your classmates' project(s) inspired you with the most ideas for your own future classroom?
    • What do you believe is the role of technology in the 21st century classroom?
    • What grade do you feel you earned?  Why (How well did you fulfill the terms of your learning contract)?
